Is Alexander House pet-friendly?

Yes, we welcome one well-behaved dog (small additional charge). The property has a large enclosed garden backing onto Thorpeness Golf Club, perfect for both children and pets to enjoy safely.

What's included in the starter pack?

Please note that Alexander House does not provide a starter pack or welcome hamper. You will need to bring your own essentials including tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. Please also bring your own Nespresso pods if you wish to use the coffee machine.

Is there parking at the property?

Yes, there is ample private parking for up to five cars directly at the property.

How far is the beach and the Meare?

Both Thorpeness beach and the famous Meare boating lake are just a 4-minute walk from Alexander House. The Meare offers rowing boats and is inspired by J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan with its islands featuring a pirate's den and dragon's lair.

What is the bedroom layout at Alexander House?

Alexander House has 6 bedrooms in total. On the ground floor, there's one twin bedroom and a shower room. Upstairs there are 5 more bedrooms: the master with super-king bed and en-suite, a triple room with en-suite, a twin room, a king-size room, and a double room, plus a family bathroom. Please note that the staircase is steep and winding and cannot accommodate a stair gate.
